I took most of today and played with my blog. I bloggerbated.
I added tables to the main index template so the columns would behave. I just can’t seem to get the right column to stop cutting off the left column. I fought and fought and then decided that tables are my friend. So I did that, I organized my blogrolls a bit, but I’m sure they’re not done, I added categories and even went back for the last few months and assigned categories to previous posts. There’s a time killer if I ever saw one.
So now it’s 1:40 and I’ve stayed up way later than I intended, but who’s really surprised by that? I’m going to bed and hopefully I’ll dream up a great design for a client’s website that I’m reworking. I’ve been maintaining the site for about three years, but I didn’t design it and it’s U G L Y!!! I talked the client into a redesign and now that he’s into it, I can’t decide which way I want to go.
I’m really looking forward to it as it will be the first site I’m designing from the beginning with Dreamweaver MX. That program is such a pleasure to work with. If you’re considering the upgrade, my advice is to do it immediately, if not sooner.
Now before I fall face first into my keyboard, I’m going to bed.
