I networked the computers but I can’t get the Shared Internet connection to work, due to the fact that I’ve got Dial up Upload and Satellite download… Why am I capitalizing everything?

Anyway, it’s driving me crazy and I’ve come to the conclusion that Sprint really needs to get off its ass and get DSL out here… Alternately Time Warner could get off their ass and get cable out here. This is ridiculous. I’m boring myself with this complaint, I can imagine what I’m doing to everyone around me…

I’ve searched and written and deleted. I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t have words to express the loss. Instead, I’ll rely on the words of others.

I started here and then that brought me here.

Today was Jim’s birthday. When he came home from work, I had a carrot cake(his favorite), candles, presents and the kids were waiting behind the table to jump out and sing “Happy Birthday”.

We got him a case and car adapter for his cellphone, a new sound card, a router and some Cat 5 cables…. (I’ll be doing the networking tomorrow). We have the stupid dial up upload, satellite download, so I was a little concerned, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to much of a problem…. I’ll keep you posted.

Tomorrow, I think I’m going to go to Home Depot and pick up paint in a very dark blue for the trim in T’s room. I decided a midnight blue and then I’m going to stencil little smatterings of stars on the trim in a gray/white/silver type color. I think that’ll work.

So those are my plans for the weekend. How about you?
