I spent more than a decade as a bartender and New Year’s Eve as a party is not something I do anymore. Everyone’s asleep in my house. The children are tucked in after watching the ball drop, Jim’s asleep in “his” chair and I don’t intend to wake him up. He suffers from sleep apnea and when he sleeps in the chair he does much better than when he’s reclined… Anyway, I’m watching re-runs of Sex and the City, trying to catch up and all, the new season starts on Sunday, don’t forget! Anyway, I’m just sitting her enjoying the solitude.
Jim’s off tomorrow and I fully intend to make the most of it. I’m going to have to go food shopping, we’re going off the carbs again and I need to stock the house. I’m also going to go do something for ME – I’m not sure what, but definitely something…
