Mmm, Bacon

Even though I’ve still got a broken RSS feed, I still have to make dinner, right? I promised the family that I would make BLT salad (just like a sandwich, but no bread), but the thought of slow cooking two pounds of bacon was more than I could bear. I did a quick google of “Cook bacon in oven” and came up with all kinds of ideas. The one I decided to try was to line high lipped cookie sheets with aluminum foil, lay out the bacon without overlapping and put in a pre-heated 425 degree oven. Cook for 6 minutes, and then turn the sheet around 180 degrees and cook for another 4-7 minutes. I did a little bit of adjusting on the times, but all in all it was quite a good idea and no bacon grease splatter all over my kitchen.
