So remember when I was talking about restoring my old blog?  Well after much crying and yelling and screaming, I did it.  Yup, I figured it out all by myself.  Ok, I’m lying.  I could never have figured this out on my own, no not ever.  I was, however, lucky enough to find this page that really made it clear.  I had to try it a couple of times, playing around with what tables to export as the options for the old site were pointing back to this site.  Once I dumped that table, it worked much better.  I haven’t quite figured out how to fix the comment count (they all say “no comments” which isn’t the case), but if that’s the worst thing then that’s fine.  I’ll be spending the next few days going through the posts, deciding which ones are going to be imported here – this blog is a lot more public than it used to be, so there are some things I’m going to remove.   All in all, I’m thrilled that I was able to take care of this.  Color me pleased with myself.

I’m barely able function most days so I won’t even try doing that stuff. Hell, right now I’m even struggling to remember all of my blogrolling crap so I can get into it and add people. Pathetic, right? lol
