I’m really starting to think that American Idol needs to start doing psychological screening on the contestants, but then again it probably wouldn’t be anywhere near as much fun, would it? And if they started screening the contestants then they’d probably screen the judges and then there just wouldn’t be a show anymore, would there?

Oh my God. How is Tatiana still there? This girl is making me want to stop watching. Really. Make. Her. Stop. That she got through another round is beyond me. So-so voice, lunatic fringe, annoying beyond belief. C’mon Idol, she’s not entertaining enough to still be here!
My boys Jamar and Danny: I loved Jamar’s “Delilah”. Great song, great voice. Danny? I love “I Hope You Dance”, but to me it sounded like it was a teensy bit out of his range. I’m glad the judges didn’t agree with me and I’m happy to see them advance.
Scott: Risky song choice using the song that AI used last year whenever anyone got booted off, and I could hear the nerves in his voice, but I was happy to see him advance.
I love, love, love Lil’s voice.
Kristin was straining all through “Because of You”, but again I like her and I’m glad to see her through.
Nathanial: Again, with the psych screen. He’s a little bit of a loose cannon. and H-A-ted his song. Nice voice though.
Ju’Not – I love him, but now I can’t even remember if he got cut last night or not.
Leneshe: I wanted her to move on. What an amazing story – but just wasn’t there, I guess. I hope she does well elsewhere.
Michael: You know, I can’t figure out why some contestants nasal qualities are hailed as the second coming and some are cut immediately. This guy has a great voice, until he starts to get nasal and then I’m out. From my camp, singing through your nose is never a good thing.
My two favorites of the night: Matt doing “Georgia on my Mind” and Jasmine doing whatever it was that she did. I think she’s terrific.
So- those are my thoughts on last night’s show. Agree? Disagree? Think I’m out of my mind? I’d love to hear about it!

Watching American Idol gave me the perspective that ther are really lots of talented people out there.`*,
I LOVE Anoop’s voice. He’s young and goofy looking but I love his tone and that he really goes for it…
… however, my freakin DVR didn’t record the dang show last night for some reason so I didn’t know that he didn’t make it. Did you miss him or did he get the boot?
